In 2021, I, the founder of Ammo.Clothing, experienced a crucial turning point in my life. I was diagnosed with OTC deficiency, an extremely rare genetic defect that caused my body to release toxic ammonia. This led to a life-threatening situation, and I was in a coma for two weeks. During this time, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, no one was allowed to visit me. The isolation was complete; only my family could be with me from afar. Of the friends I had, only a few reached out.

However, this dark period also brought about a profound realization and change within me. I learned what it means to be strong and persevere, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. During this phase, I also found a new approach to religion, which gave me strength and support. This experience became the seed for Ammo.Clothing – a brand that symbolizes strength, resilience, and determination.

The name Ammo is an abbreviation for ammonia, the toxic substance released in OTC deficiency. But Ammo also stands for 'ammunition' – symbolizing the inner strength and fighting spirit that lie dormant within each of us. Our brand's logo, a poisonous scorpion, was inspired by the toxic substance that threatened my life. The scorpion also symbolically represents my own life – often in the shadow of others, unnoticed and underestimated, yet full of strength and determination.

Our designs are deliberately simple and elegant to convey a deeper message. Every garment from Ammo.Clothing is a tribute to resilience and a reminder that we must never give up, no matter how difficult times may be. Our oversized streetwear stands for comfort and self-confidence, for the feeling of being comfortable in one's own skin while conveying a significant message. Many of our designs have a religious touch, inspired by the spiritual strength I found during my recovery.

Our vision is to create a movement – a community of people who have experienced similar difficult times and emerged stronger. Through Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, we not only share our collections but also the stories of our followers. We want to provide a platform where people can share their experiences and inspire each other.
